Worldwide Media Coverage of Peter A. Simm’s Work As a Lawyer

Although Peter A. Simm’s work as a lawyer hasn’t yielded 15 minutes of fame, it has occasionally sparked 15 seconds of notoriety in media ranging from Pravda   to the The Wall Street Journal.  His legal work is covered in 175 mainstream media reports from every continent in the world (except Antarctica). Of those reports, 127 are Canadian and 50 are international — including mainstream media outlets in the U.S., Brazil, UK (including both Scotland and England, with 2 articles in The Times  of London), Ireland, Spain, Italy, Norway, Russia, Angola, India, China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. American coverage includes 10 reports by national media outlets (such as CNN and CBS News) and 15 examples of reports by local media (such as in Chicago, Boston and New York City).

The geographic scope of Canadian local coverage ranges from the Nanaimo [B.C.] Daily News  in the west, to The [St John’s, Newfoundland] Telegram  in the east, and from Fort McMurray [Alberta] Today  in the north, to The Windsor [Ontario] Star  in the south. Domestic coverage includes 5 reports disseminated nationwide to media outlets by the Canadian Press wire service. As well, there are 22 reports by national mainstream Canadian media — such as CBC, CTV, The Globe and Mail , and The National Post  — which would penetrate even remote communities that lack local media.
